EXCITING NEW COMPANY FORMED IN BOWLING GREEN INDUSTRY

INBOWLS & LEISURE LTD bowling green designers, bowling green construction. The directives of the new company, will include the supply, installation and maintenance of artificial indoor bowling greens and outdoor bowling greens along with laser-levelled bases, both in the UK and abroad.

Bill’s working background has been the supply and maintenance of indoor and outdoor artificial bowling greens, and was the sales director of Greengauge Ltd for more than 15 years. It is this expertise he will utilise to expand the growing customer base of the new company. Over his successful 15 years Bill Hobart has formed many personal relationships with club officials wishing to improve the standards of their indoor bowling greens, and his long proven ability and sound advice has resulted in specialist installations at over 250 indoor and 60 outdoor clubs.

We are very aware that the success of the sports surfaces business is very much dependant on quality, ranging from the standard of materials and workmanship right through to the extremely important after-sales service to the bowling clubs. With this in mind, Bill joined forces with Mike Tittershill, who has had almost 20 years experience in the sports surface industry and almost 10 years in the specialist bowling greens sector as the Construction Director of Greengauge Ltd. It will be his expertise and experience, which will ensure quality of the highest standard.

The new company will be called INBOWLS & LEISURE (SPORTS SURFACES) LTD, which will utilise all the latest technology in choosing the various specialist methods and materials in the construction of its unique artificial bowling greens and bases, with fully qualified tradesmen and engineers to carry out the work, all with many years experience in the bowling-green business.

The range of services of INBOWLS & LEISURE (SPORTS SURFACES) LTD will include the following.

• Supply and installation of new indoor and outdoor bowling greens and renewals (woven or needle-punched)
• Supply and installation of new underlay for outdoor and indoor bowling greens to suit the green speed required
• Supply and installation of laser levelled wooden floor systems for indoors
• Supply and installation of laser levelled outdoor bases
• After sales service and maintenance on all the above products
